I called at 10 AM and asked if they had availability. The guy on the phone said come on down for a walk in. I drove right away and when I arrived, they said the one walk-in appointment had been filled for the whole day. He did not mention that on the phone. Waste of time

Paid for 4 new tires and was told that they would be shipped into the store in 3-5 days. 4 days later I received a call from Costco saying that the tires had arrived. I made an appointment for the next day to have them installed. Went to the installation appointment and was told that the tries hadn’t arrived and that they were never ordered. They were reordered. An hour after doing so, I got a text from Costco saying thanks for trusting Costco and that the tire installation was done. I’ll have to go back to Costco today and be sure that that text didn’t mean that their system thought that my new tires had been installed and now this new order for the tires has been canceled. Just hope it works out prior to my trip…Ugh

I had an appointment to replace my tires at 5:30 pm. (I spent $1300 on new tires). I handed over my vehicle at 5:28 pm. I was told 1.5-2 hours. I’m still here, and my tires are still not on the vehicle at 9:10 pm. I haven’t receive any updates. Terrible customer service.

TLDR; Huge thanks to David, Paul and Kienan (also the team members at the front desk), who fixed the tires like a speedrun. I got to the tire center 20 minutes before closing (8:10pm~) . My front tire is completely broken after a long road trip and I really need to go to SD to visit a friend that I haven’t seen for 7 years the next day. After hearing our story, the whole team worked together and fixed all the issues. With their help, we safely get SD. The front desk team members help me to setup membership (yeah, I don’t even have a membership when I got there and there is no other tire repair shop still open at 8 pm). They also helped me to check the storage of the tires we want to get even though this is not their job. Then the superhero David and the team in tire shop took our request even though they’re closing and helped us to fix the tires and gave a detailed inspection and replaced both our front tires. All of this happens in a really short time. When I looked back, it’s unimaginable that they can get everything done in less than 20 minutes. Many of my friends have Costco membership but never had I imagined myself become one. This experience completely changed me. The team

Even though we made a reservation for tire rotation at 2pm, they didn’t touch the car for two hours! Finally the tires were rotated and we went home for dinner. On the way home we saw that the tire warning light was on, so we returned the next morning. David discovered a nail in one tire that was not there when we dropped it off. Fortunately he stood good for replacing that tire as it was in the side. He was very efficient and told us to contact him if anything else was wrong. We will be sure to work only with him next time.
